Hitachi showed off the 1.5-inch Ultra Thin Plasma HDTV at the CES 2008. Developed using highly sophisticated technology, the secret cannot be revealed due to high competition. Hitachi plans to market the Ultra Thin Plasma by the end of 2009 and other sizes may be available at that time too. They introduced the the first Ultra Thin LCD TVs in 2008.
