Airbags are usually meant for protecting the passengers. But what if Future cars come with airbags in the exterior to protect the pedestrians ? Toyota has come up with a prototype car featuring 360 degree airbag protection. There are airbags in the front, back, sides, and even along the roof.

The car is equipped with camera and radar sensors to detect pedestrians and activate the outer airbags to protect anyone within range of the car. The hood airbag is supposed to cushion the head while the grill airbag cushions your waist, like you just fell on a soft comfy bed backwards.
